METTLER TOLEDO DSC 821 (Differential Scanning Calorimetry)


The differential scanning calorimetry is a method of material characterization that measures the differences of heat exchanges between a sample and an inert reference (i.e. with no thermic effects in the studied temperature range).

It allows to determine the glass transition temperature of polymers, the fusion and cristallization temperatures, the reaction enthalpy…

Temperature range : from room temp. to 500°C

Maximal temperature ramp : 20°C/min

Temperature probe : Pt100
