Located in the Brussels Region, the non-profit organization Meurice R&D was created in 1994 by the scientific staff of the Meurice Institute, itself incorporated in 1995 into the Lucia de Brouckère University College. In 2001, the COCOF research department, now Labiris, also partnered with Meurice R&D.
